Bajaj Pulsar F250. Specifications and Price

At the later end of October 2021 Bajaj revealed its two new lineups for the Pulsar series. The Pulsar series has been a favorite amongst the youngsters in Nepal. Bajaj unveiled two different variants to the Pulsar series.

The first being N250 and the second being F250. F250 is the biggest Pulsar that the company has released.  The higher displacement series had been rumored to be in the production line in 2019, But due to the pandemic affecting every sector of the world, the series had not been able to be unveiled or have any form of advancement.

The new versions of the Pulsar series introduce an all-new engine, new chassis, new design, basically, you can say the 250 lineup is a completely new take on the Pulsar series. Bajaj Pulsar N250 and the Bajaj Pulsar F250 are slated to launch alongside one another.

During the unveiling event, they even highlighted the history and the legacy that the Pulsar series holds.

“We were so occupied with the Husqvarna and KTM portfolio that we took away the rise of Pulsar. Quite frankly, we are three years too late with the new Pulsar.”- Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, the Managing Director of Bajaj Auto

After having addressed the lack of updates on the Pulsar series, Mr. Bajaj stated that he is confident that the new line of Pulsar products will bring back the Pulsar series to the glorious state that it was in.

With that said, let us dive into the specifications of the all-new Bajaj Pulsar F250.

Bajaj Pulsar F250 Overview

Design

The Bajaj Pulsar 250F sports a semi-faired styling.

The principle for the design was “sculptural purity”. It also sports a tone-on-tone dynamic with metalized dual colors and satin silver components.

The front section of the F250 has a similar design concept to the 220F styling.

The wind visor and clip-on handlebar have a familiar feel to them. Moreover, the new F250 also gets modern features like a bi-functional projector LED headlamp with flank LED DRLs and a twin LED tail lamp. Additionally, there are other visual elements including a chunky engine cowl, split-seat setup, and split-type grab rails.

Similar to one of its siblings, the Dominar series, Pulsar 250 also debuts an all-new dual-barrel exhaust.

Another minor change or moreover upgrades is that it sports an all-new infinity analog-digital instrument cluster. It shares its similarities with the classic meter but displays additional information like Gear Position, Clock, Range Indicator, and Fuel Efficiency. Bajaj Pulsar 250F is available in two colors: Racing Red and Techno Grey.

Bajaj Pulsar F250 Price in Nepal and Availability

If we are talking about the price rate. The price for the F250 starts at INRs. 1.40 Lakhs in the Indian market.

As the pulsar line-up is one of the most popular line-ups in Nepal, the anticipation for the new line-up is at an all-time high. With this information, we can expect the new series to be launching in Nepal sometime in 2022. Though this is speculation, Bajaj Nepal has not made any comments about when the new line-up will be arriving in the markets of Nepal.

As the new F250 is new blood within the 250cc series, it is bound to have various competition within the market itself. The competitions being FZ25, Apache RTR 200 4V, KTM Duke 250, and Suzuki Gixxer 250. Chances are the F250 might even be a competition for its own siblings like NS200 as the price for NS200 and F250 might not be different by too high of a margin.

Final Thoughts

As the F250 is one of the most anticipated bikes in recent years, the features that it sports are a bit disappointing. But by no means, does it mean that the bike itself is gonna be bad. It just does not have that wow factor that you would be expecting from one of the most loved line-ups.

However, the disappointments are moreover amplified after having compared the F250 with its other siblings, which sport way too similar specifications to that of F250 itself. Moreover, there were some people even going as far as to say that it was basically a higher displacement of the NS series with only a few added features to make it appeal to the public.

To be honest and fair here, if you were to look at the images of the F250, from the tail light portion, you would not even be able to differentiate if the bike is Dominar or the F250.

Will the F250 live up to the amount of hype it has generated, that we will have to wait and see.

As for the price of the bike in Nepalese market, we can expect it to be around atleast Rs 4-5 Lakhs. This price is solely speculative as the price point has not been released and given how high the taxation in Nepal is currently for petroleum product vehicles are, chances are the price may even be around Rs 6 lakhs.
