TVS Ronin 225 Overview

Design

TVS Ronin 225 has a unique design. It is different in many ways and this difference brings out a great amount of freshness into the two-wheelers market.  The two-wheeler sports a cruiser-style design. The design has not been much explored within the Nepalese Market.

It is a one-of-a-kind design choice even for TVS Motors.

The two-wheeler is a mix between retro elements as well as modern elements.

A circular T-Face Pilot lamp with a powerful LED headlamp can be observed in the front section of the bike. Additionally, the side indicators are also LEDs.

Moreover, the cruiser styling is a lot more apparent from the side profile of the two-wheeler than the front side.

“The bike gets a sculpted tank with the TVS’ signature horse badging, single piece seat, and a tank cowl. Moreover, the rear fender seems to hinder the overall profile of the two-wheeler”

Furthermore, the bike also includes a sleek LED tail lamp.

While some do prefer the rear light to be circular to match the front, the rear light being a sleek streak also plays into its modern design with the retro twist.

Additionally, the Ronin also includes 9-Spoke Alloy Wheels, Chain Cover, and a Custom Exhaust.

Furthermore, the TVS Ronin 225 is expected to come in six different color variations, some of which are: Grey and Orange.

The bike is mated to a 5-speed Gearbox with Assisted Slipper Clutch. Moreover, It comes with a massive 14-liter fuel tank capacity.

The bike shares the same engine as the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.

“TVS Motors has increased the engine displacement by increasing the stroke by 8.2mm. Resulting in having both the bore and stroke the same size which is 66mm.”

Furthermore, the bike does not have multiple riding modes, unlike its other siblings.

But the bike does have Rain mode and Urban Mode to switch between for the sensitivity of the ABS system.

Additional trademark TVS features such as Glide Through Technology (GTT), Adjustable Levers, Side Stand Engine Cut Off, and Dual-Channel ABS come as standard.

TVS Nepal should make sure to launch the new cruiser into the market soon.

There have been various reports that hint towards TVS Nepal having brought two different units for testing purposes.

Nonetheless, more details will be brought to light in a few weeks.

TVS Ronin 225 will be a direct contender for Royal Enfield Hunter 350.

While TVS does have a respectable amount of customer base, for a cruiser-type bike, Royal Enfield has the number 1 choice for any enthusiast of the segment.

“If TVS Nepal is to make sure that it leaves a lasting image in the eyes of the customer in the cruiser segment, they need to launch the Ronin 225 before Royal Enfield launches their Royal Enfield Hunter 350”
